A Grammar Checker for Written Works
I have always had a dream of writing the next best seller. I love to write, but I rarely put my writing out there for anyone to see. The most I have done is write a few plays for church at Christmas time and Easter time. They got stellar reviews from our small town, and that is when I decided to try something more than that. I knew that there were a lot of contests for writers, so I started looking at them online. I read a lot of articles about them, which is why I needed a grammar checker.
There were a lot of tips mixed in with the contests, and one of them that really impressed me was making sure there are no errors in the writings that anyone submits. I am pretty good at making sure there are no errors, but I knew that even the best writers have a proofreader and editor for a reason. Even before I started to seriously look at the contests I wanted to enter, I did a search for a website or app that would help ensure that I had the proper grammar. I can accept it if one of my writings fails because of the content. However, to have it fail because of grammatical errors is just not acceptable.
I was able to find a website that checks for proper grammar. I was able to utilize it with a few of the pieces I had written but never shown anyone. I was happy that two of them had zero errors, yet I was also happy to see that the grammar site caught two errors on the third piece. Knowing that this site really does the job of checking grammar, I knew that I was finally ready to start submitting some of my writing pieces to various contests. Hopefully I will win one of them!
